Q: Do I need to make an appointment for services?
A: For maximum convenience we recommend pre-scheduled appointments. This is especially true if you require a specific time or prefer a specific therapist for your services.
Q: How far in advance should I schedule an appointment?
A: We suggest scheduling one or two days in advance of your desired date. If you are unable we will make every attempt to schedule an appointment on the same day of your call. Packages or group bookings need to be planned well in advance to allow for the best selection of times and services. Also all group bookings must be guaranteed with a credit card.
Q: If I am running late for an appointment?
A: If you expect to be late for your appointment, please call us as soon as possible so that we may make any adjustments to the schedule as needed. We will make every attempt to accommodate you, however it may not always be possible. If not, we will use the blocked time to do the treatment minus the missed time. Payment for the full treatment will be required.
Q: If I need to cancel my appointment?
A: We reserve spa services specifically for you therefore should you need to reschedule we require a 12 hour advance notice for cancelation or a 20% of service fee will be required.
Q: Are cell phones permitted in the spa?
A: If you are expecting a call we understand the need for your cell phone. Please however be considerate regarding its use in the common areas. Also, it is not recommended to leave it on while receiving a service.
Q: Gratuity?
A: If you are purchasing a gift certificate it is suggested to include the gratuity with payment for services. A 15% to 20% gratuity is typical for these services. You also can include the gratuity with services on your major credit card.

A: YES, It is recommended to wait two weeks between any chemical services and Keratin Complex services.
Q: How many days after the treatment before the hair can get wet or be shampooed?
A: You must wait 3 days (72 hours) before shampooing your hair or swimming.
Q: Can the hair be pulled back or clipped up during the 72-hour waiting period?
A: No. Bands and clips will make impressions in the hair.
Q: What should be done if the hair gets wet during the 72-hour waiting period?
A: Blow the hair dry and flat iron with medium to low heat immediately.
Q: What kind of shampoo and conditioner should be used?
A: Sodium-Chloride Free or Sodium-Chloride and Sulfate Free so that the Keratin will not be stripped from the hair and the treatment results will last longer.
Q: How often can the treatment be done?
A: The treatment can be done as often as every 4-6 weeks.
Q: Is the re-application of the treatment done on the entire head or just on the new growth?
A: The re-application should be done on the entire head as the build-up of keratin can only improve, not harm, the hair.
Q: How long will the treatment last?
A: The treatment lasts 3-5 months, depending on lifestyle and maintenance, provided the client follows all after care instructions.
